Community Inclusions Ltd., Employment Services Program offers services to individuals between the ages of 18-65 with an intellectual disability in the West Prince area. The Employment Program started in 2002 and has been growing ever since.

The Employment Services Program at Community Inclusions Ltd. helps individuals with intellectual disabilities find and maintain meaningful employment within their communities. The program offers personalized support to help clients develop the necessary skills and confidence to succeed in the workplace.
Key Services Provided:
🔹 Pre-Employment – Helping clients develop essential workplace skills, including communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving.
🔹 Resume & Interview Preparation – Assisting clients with creating resumes, completing job applications, and practicing interview techniques to improve their chances of securing employment.
🔹 Job Search Assistance – Identifying suitable job opportunities that align with each client’s interests, strengths, and abilities. Filling in applications, using search engines.
🔹 On-the-Job Support & Coaching – Providing hands-on job coaching and training to help clients adjust to their roles, meet employer expectations, and develop independence at work.
🔹 Work Placements & Employer Partnerships – Connecting clients with local businesses and organizations for paid employment, work trials, or volunteer experiences to gain valuable workplace exposure.
🔹 Ongoing Support & Advocacy – Ensuring long-term success by providing ongoing guidance, problem-solving support, and advocating for inclusive hiring practices within the community.
🔹 Drop-in Day – 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. Life and Employability Skills program

The program is available to individuals with intellectual disabilities in Western Prince Edward Island who are seeking meaningful employment and need assistance with job readiness, placement, and workplace support.
